I have seen other pictures of this car on its head. First, it has a rear sway bar. Second, it's got Bilsteins in the rear (it's a safe assumption that they're up front, too). Third, those tires are not bald -- they're Kumho Victoracer race tires.
That rollover happened at a hill-climb competition. It was dry (but Victoracers are commonly used as rain tires).

thats what you get for driving a swaybar-less, soft springed, 8 valve to fast in the rain with no tire tread
