Original Factory Intercooler

I autocross with a guy who's got access to all sorts of cool old Saab racecar parts. Including this factory intercooler. Note the endtanks -- no stock down-and-back path like the stock intercooler. I guess the down-and-back path was more efficient?? Interesting...
